Developing the Young Workforce
Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s Youth Employment strategy to better prepare young people for the world of work and reduce youth unemployment by 40%. It is a seven-year Government programme that runs from 2014-2021.
The aim of the programme is to create a rich variety of high quality learning opportunities, linked to skills needs and employer demand, taken up by young people who are informed and empowered to make smart decisions about the best route to work for them.
