Learning Resource Centre
The library is a whole school resource providing a range of books, both fiction and non-fiction, for all pupils and staff. The library resources support the curriculum, promote independent learning and encourage reading for pleasure. All pupils and staff are members of the library. The LRC is situated over two floors. The ground floor houses all the books, areas to sit and read, and for seniors to study quietly with laptops available to them. There are two trolleys which hold Netbooks and iPads. These are booked by teachers to be used in class. The first floor has a main computer room with 24 desktops. This classroom can be booked by teachers for ICT lessons. There are also two smaller classrooms that have the use of a laptop trolley.
