A new video clip has been released to show learners how to use SCHOLAR on their studies, as they work towards a National 5, Higher or Advanced Higher Qualification. The video is suitable for learners with no prior experience with SCHOLAR, but may also be of benefit to students with summative assessments or exams approaching, who may wish to use the interactive course materials and automatically marked end of topic and end of unit assessments for consolidation and revision.

SCHOLAR is an online programme hosted and managed by Heriot-Watt University. The programme provides support materials for STEM subjects (Sciences, Computing, Maths), Business (Accounting, Business Management), Art and Design and Languages (English, ESOL, French, German, Spanish) at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level.
Resources include interactive quizzes, exam questions, paper-based worksheets, slideshows etc. Every unit has an end of test facility which enables pupils to consolidate their learning. Pupils, and staff, can track progress throughout the programme.
Pupils can access Scholar by logging onto Glow and clicking on the Scholar tile. If experiencing problems with access to Glow pupils should speak to their class teacher.
