The Bell Baxter Learning Standard
A key Improvement Priority for the school is that of developing high quality learning experiences. We can only achieve this by working together to improve the quality of learning and teaching across the curriculum and thereby ensure that every lesson counts.
The Bell Baxter Learning Standard was created in September 2018 by a school improvement group and is displayed in every classroom and key area within the school. The Bell Baxter Learning Standard acts as a visual tool/representation of what we consider to be the key features to be found in any learning episode across the curriculum. Each strand within our learning standard provides the focus for our continuing professional development as we push ourselves to innovate and to continually raise the quality and consistency of learning and teaching experiences across the curriculum.
